Understanding Our Transcription Services
- Verbatim Transcription: Captures every word and sound, ideal for detailed records such as documentaries or legal transcripts.
- Clean Verbatim: Removes filler words while retaining the speaker's exact message. Ideal for legal or formal contexts.
- Non-Verbatim: Focuses on the key message by removing filler words and unnecessary elements, often the best choice for subtitling and perfect for business or general communication.
- Intelligent Edited Non-Verbatim: Offers a polished, readable transcript with grammatical corrections and omits irrelevant content. Ideal for corporate communications.
Timestamping Options
- No Timestamps: If you prefer to keep costs low, we can provide a transcript without any timestamps.
- Traditional Timestamping: Timestamps are inserted at the beginning of a new line each time the speaker changes.
- Fixed Interval Timestamping: Timestamps are placed at fixed intervals, regardless of new lines or sentences.
- Approximate Interval Timestamping: Timestamps are placed approximately every 30 or 60 seconds, on a new line at the start of the nearest new sentence or paragraph.
- Subtitle/Timecode format: We can also provide your transcript in a timecode or subtitle format, inserting a timestamp at the start of each new line, or each time we think a new subtitle should start (depending on your request). This is ideal for video content.
